Helping You Find The Right One

Bare Floor Vacuums

Bare floor vacuums can be found at just about every store you’d expect. The Bissell bare floor vacuum has a unique V-shape design to suck the debris into the middle. You’d expect the motor to struggle to get the dirt to the middle but it doesn’t. The Versus was specifically designed for bare floors and to help you get around furniture and along the walls.

The Bissell bare floor vacuum comes in two models: Corded and Cordless.  Believe it or not, the cordless is less money.  Below are some facts on these bare floor vacuums.

Bare Floor Vacuums Versus 76T8

  • Versus 76T8 Corded $69.99 and Cordless $59.99bissell versus bare floor vacuum
  • A 12 amp bare floor vacuum with pretty good suction
  • V shaped brush draws dirt towards the middle
  • Designed specifically for bare floors only
  • Cleaning path of 13″
  • Hose Length of 6.56′
  • Cord length just shy of 20′
  • Bagless design results in easy dirt removal
  • Limited one year warranty

The Versus bare floor vacuum is featherlite and easy to use, but remember when the cord is extended it is easy to tip over.  Some Versus owners would really like the cord to be a little longer especially if you have a room that is larger than 20′.  But they all say it was more power than your normal stick bare floor vacuum.

A bare floor vacuum is used by a lot of moms with small children in their homes.  Spills are plentiful and the Versus has no problem picking up large spills especially cheerio’s.  I’ve read where some mothers have had problems cleaning along the floor but I am not sure if they turned the vacuum sideways along the long edge to help clean along the walls.

The cordless bare floor vacuum is liked by many mothers because you can go as you please without worry of a cord and the fact that it still retains to power of the corded model, when it is fully charged. Don’t forget these vacuums are perfect for wood, tile, vinyl or linoleum. A hardwood floor vacuum is basically the same thing as a bare floor vacuum.

In our day and age of multi-tasking, anything that is automated might be the way to go. Although bare floor vacuums are spendy compared to a broom and pan, it’s a heck of a lot easier on your back.  You need to weigh the options before you purchase.  Heck, if price is a concern you should consider a bare floor sweeper.  They are usually $30 less but don’t do to well on carpets.

If you are considering a bare floor steamer just remember the steamer is more of a cleaner than a pick em up type of thing.

All bare floor vacuums can be purchased online at Wal Mart, Sears, Target, Amazon and a host of other places.  My advice is check the ad’s in the paper because you will find some of these products on sale.
